Nassau Supreme Court Orders District Attorney to Open Jesse Friedman File
Jesse Friedman prepared his first effort at appealing his conviction after 15 years. Jesse’s attorney, along with a volunteer staff team effort, spent months collecting and organizing the newly discovered evidence of police misconduct, prosecutorial misconduct, student recantations, and exonerating evidence into a formal court submission.
In July 2010, the Federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals said there was "a reasonable likelihood" that Jesse Friedman was wrongfully convicted
